Peacemakers

We read No, David! by David Shannon. Then we brainstormed characteristics of peacemakers and peacebreakers. We made peacemakers because all of us want to be peaceMAKERS!

We LOVE Math!

During the first week of school, we explored our math manipulatives by counting, sorting, and making patterns. Since then, we have started go to independent math tubs that we also love!

We LOVE Daily 5!

We are totally in love with our new classroom library!

We are building our stamina daily during Read to Self!

We get to choose a spot to sit.

We were so well behaved on the first day of school that we earned Magic Playdoh!

It was white but changed colors to show us we will have a GREAT year!

I am THRILLED to be looping this year! I taught Kindergarten last year and looped up to First Grade with all of my wonderful kiddos from last year plus a few new fabulous firsties! It's going to be a great year!
