Letter Mm

Last week we learned all about the Letter Mm!  We learned what sound Mm makes, brainstormed words that begin with Mm and learned how to write capital and lowercase Mm.  We also learned how to read, write, and recognize the following Word Wall Words:  I, my.  We have had so much fun using our reader finger to point to words and getting our mouth ready to read words.  When you are reading books at home, hunt for the letter Mm, I, and my and practice using your reading strategies!  

Mm is for muffin.

Mm is for macaroni.

Mm is for mouse.  We colored the mouse and then cut and glued Mm words around the mouse.

Mm is for monster.  We read Go Away, Big Green Monster,  Glad Monster, Sad Monster, and My Monster Mama Loves Me So.

Mm is for masks.  We had so much fun trying on the masks from Glad Monster, Sad Monster!

We made monsters!

Mm is for moose.  Our favorite activity was making a moose puppet!
