Letter Mm
Last week we learned all about the Letter Mm! We learned what sound Mm makes, brainstormed words that begin with Mm and learned how to write capital and lowercase Mm. We also learned how to read, write, and recognize the following Word Wall Words: I, my. We have had so much fun using our reader finger to point to words and getting our mouth ready to read words. When you are reading books at home, hunt for the letter Mm, I, and my and practice using your reading strategies!

We have been working on learning our friends' names. We have also been talking about the letters in our own names. We love to practice writing our names! Thank you parents for the first gift you ever gave us...our names!

Rules, Procedures, and Promises
During the first few weeks of school, we learned about citizenship by learning the rules and expectations for Kindergarten and Hopkins Road Elementary. We're doing an awesome job following rules and keeping our promises!
